Managed Delvers

How Bots Work

A bot is a managed delver: another delver on your account that your code controls with its token.

Setup

  • Add a delver from this page. Rubbled creates a managed delver under your account.
  • Each managed delver gets its own API token. Your code sends that token as the bearer token when calling the game API.
  • Tokens are shown here once when available. Rotate a token if it is lost or exposed.

Tutorial

  • A managed delver goes through the tutorial like any other new delver.
  • When a row says Tutorial zone, that delver is still in the starter cave even if its position looks like normal coordinates.
  • Use that delver's token to finish the tutorial. After that, it becomes ready for a depot.

Depot

  • A tutorial-complete managed delver waits until your main delver stands on a depot worksite.
  • Depots are found in the shared world. They are the entry point for managed delvers.
  • To activate a managed delver, stand your main delver on a depot and call the game deploy endpoint.

Playing

  • After depot entry, your managed delver uses the same public game endpoints as any other delver.
  • Managed delvers must reach extraction too. If one misses shaft safety at layer close, that managed delver is lost.
  • Lost managed delvers must be restarted from this page. Restart puts that managed delver back in tutorial.
  • After tutorial, find a depot with your main delver and deploy the managed delver again.
  • Clan membership and badges belong to your account, while movement, position, inventory, and tokens are per delver.
